Conditions

Next to the Scopes on TaskSets and other Scense objects there are more objects that can be conditional.
The conditions on Session Events and Actions are powered by the Scopes and Criteria system as well. For these objects a hidden Scope is dynamically created whenever Criteria are added.
The Session Events and the Actions can be conditional in a slightly different way.

Session Events
A Condition on a Session Event can direct the Session Event to execute a different selection of Actions (see the RunMode Concept in Chapter 8).

Notice.

  • It is not recommended to set conditions on the ‘Application’ Session Event within an Application Taskset, because this will probably break the normal ‘Installed/Not Installed’ behavior.

Actions
A Condition on an Action will determine whether or not the Action will be executed. An Action will only be executed if the collection of Conditions on it produces ‘True’
