All Scense users get at Scense logon a Scense Executive Problem report like this:

This can be caused by a malfunctioning of the Scense Database server due to a disc full situation.
A very large Scense_log.ldf file can be the cause of this disc full situation.
This so called transaction file is used with a restore of a database backup. With the use of Database Backup files and the Transaction file a restore of the database is performed to a recent moment.
When a new Database Backup is created also a new transaction log is created and the old transaction log will be deleted. By scheduling the creation of a new Database Backup once a week for instance, you prevent the transaction log to grow to unlimited sizes.
